I don't know if this screen still shows up in Windows today, but some of you might remember it (under the assumption you've run Windows before). I think this was a Win2K thing. Anyhow, I made this quite a while ago and thought to share it with any who were interested. Click the "Restore my Active Desktop" multiple times to see what happens. It makes for a decent prank, I think.

In order to make this into a desktop, you may have to download it to hard drive and make an html in the same location. Windows ought to be able to load html's as desktops. Anyhow, you can save a copy of the aforementioned page here: [link]

EDIT:
Alright, I didn't think it was possible, but I guess enough people have downloaded the html to eat my daily bandwidth allotment for that hosting service. So, if you're really desperate, here's a copy/paste script. Have fun trying to figure out what it was before dA decided it would be helpful to format in all the smileys:

Reminds me of my Gateway Astro PC when it corrupts the wallpaper along with continuously pop ups from it's glitch.

that's currently my background. I don't know what happenedd to it. I def. didn't put it on there purposely but now im on deviant looking for a wallpaper and I happen to see this one which looks oh so familar. and soo on.. lol

Hah! I've gotton XP to do this repeatedly, then I dug deep down and found how to murder Active Desktop and keep it from trying to web-ify my desktop. It's enough of a mess with over 2000 icons.

When I was five or six, I had an unnatural fear of computer errors. This was one of the errors I was afraid of, and I'd run away screaming at the sight of this. Good thing I'm over that, or this would give me a heart attack...

wow, i used to have nightmares about the computer crashing and getting blue screen of death. my comp was always at just the right position to stare me in the face when i was trying to go to bed :iconscaredplz:
