So a while ago at retreat my class held a white elephant gift exchange, which I had no idea about. I didn't have anything with me, so I folded a piece of paper and wrote "I owe you (1) short animation(s)" on it and placed it in the pile. A girl from my year got the paper, so, not sure of what to animate, I asked around for some opinion and got "draw a duck drinking boba!" I confirmed that it was okay with her, and it was decided that that was what the animation would be.

This was a year ago.

Yesterday I buckled down and said "Alright John, you gotta start/finish this thing!" And I did. So here ya go, Mandy; sorry for the long long delay in getting this to you.

In case this Flash 9 stuff isn't working on your computer, you can look at the preview. It's pretty much the same, except that it doesn't move. All it does is have the duck sip the boba at random intervals for random durations, and have the wind blow through the scenery continuously (those tree leaves arguably took the longest time to program). Listen to some good relaxing music while you watch this (eg - anything from Sketchbook).
