Ah, Chester Chester Chester...

Chester is a volunteer worker who devotes his time to heroes' charity. That is, he is the fellow responsible for planting chests in RPGs and adventure games where the protagonist can find them. The NPC guild provides him with a box filled with gold, items, or other unsellable junk that past heroes have sold to NPC vendors. Chester then straps it to his weak bishie back and rides his funky donkey, Fonky, to monster nests and dungeons and boss chambers. This constant voyaging has resulted in his haggard appearance, as evidenced by his patched pants and broken hat.

Chester also has a sister who feeds money and equipment to monsters, and a brother who hides various goods in peoples' houses and pots.

Bwah, it's been a while since I drew a fine-lined piece, so I figured I'd do so. I'm pleased with the quality of this one, though not quite so with Chester's face. He doesn't look quite as pathetic as I'd hope he would have, but I suppose this will have to suffice. Anyhow, no new techniques in this piece.

LIE! I did try something new this time! Oh, I am such a clever liar. I ought to be given a medal for being so deceptively cunning. But to get to the point, I used the "Paint Inside" brush mode for shading instead of the typical "Paint Normal." It's pretty handy for keeping the colors within the lines, and I'd recommend it to any aspiring Flash artists as well.

On a design note, Chester is vaguely inspired by Hamel's appearance in terms of hat, cape, and covered eye. And I learned to draw Fonky from this. That is the best way to draw an equid.

LOL funky donkey Fonky! XD WHEEW!

I think his face is just fine since well... His job seems pretty insane having to do all those things...So he has to force himself to be happy about it? XD I dunno...His sister's job seems more harsh than his... DX Poor sister! I bet his bro is a lot younger due to the easiness of pillaging peoples homes and stuffing their furniture with randomness.

Wow thats amazing, i cant believe oyu drew that on flash. I mean ive been trying for ages to draw a flash animation for my ict [i had to go the full mile and to a manga one with detail] but it looks alright i need more practise to be as good as you
