Housei Hogan (砲声ホーガン - "Cannon Roar Hogan") is a nomadic hero who travels across the country, performing valiant deeds and carrying out vigilante justice as part of his life long fight against Assery (which, given its subjective nature, is a bit controversial).

Hogan is also affectionately known as "Cannon Man" by his fans, possibly as an allusion to his powerful cannon-like punch and his explosive battlecry: "DOKKAN!" He relies mainly on the kindess of strangers for food and shelter, though he is also capable of surviving on his own in the open.

Hogan's weakness is loneliness. Whenever he tries to talk to people or even look at them, they cower away in fear, so as a result he doesn't have many friends. There's only one guy with the courage to talk to him face-to-face, but he stands too close and makes Hogan uncomfortable.


Anyhow, designing Hogan was pretty fun, from his six-pack abs to his seat-belt belt. The rest of his outfit is a bit plain, though. In the future I think I will try to add some more detail in my designs, though I will also have to be careful not to make them too "busy."
