In the end, all that mattered was loading three people into a gun, and shooting the emperor with it.

What did you think of Dawn/Aria of Sorrow, and Portrait of Ruin?

Didn't play Portrait. I liked the style and story of Aria, but I also liked the gameplay of Dawn.
The only problem I had with it was its ending, I think they should have elaborated on what Shanoa did after beating up Dracula. What did you think of it?
I did find the ending to be generally pretty good though, and Albus' death was nicely done.
I don't know how to put it, but it wasn't like Aerith's death, which wasn't actually necessary or done properly IMO (she didn't HAVE to die, Sephiroth randomly flew out of the sky and stabbed her), it was done mainly for the reason of it being unexpected and shocking. Albus's death was more like in KH358/2 days, (major spoiler alert) where Xion's death (/major spoiler alert) was completely necessary, it HAD to be done, and it made it all the more tragic and dramatic. (sorry if I blabbered on too much about character deaths)
Dawn/Aria were both very good, but... soul grinding was horrendous...
Portrait of Ruin offered a somewhat more "normal" feeling Castlevania experience. You should try it out if you ever get the chance. My biggest gripe with it is probably how unrelated the story is to the two main characters. That, and how Charlotte can't use magic in mid-air. >_>

And Dracula'd be like "Yo, would you like to live in my castle?"
I believe her official title is "mage", which is like, totally way more stylish than "witch". She also dresses better than everyone else, because that's just what mages do. Be fabulous. A witch can't do that, and Dracula can tell.
Just look at Sypha, she wears a blanket over her head.

My time has yet to come. There is still much work to be done.
