-which, after much feedback from comments, I believe is French for "The Girl of the Sky."
Anyhow, it's been a while since I've drawn something probably because I'm currently addicted to po'grammin (my projects are a secret, though). This was quite a fun piece to draw. Originally I started off thinking "Alright! I'm gonna draw the embodiment of a monster's mouth that detached and decided to roam the world!" And some stuff happened along the way, and what we have now is this young lady steppin' through the sky with what appears to be a giant nail in her head.
Anyhow, Poulet, as I call this girl, is the daughter of a chicken, a scarecrow, and a windmill. She spent most of her life eating worms and low-flying birds, but when she turned 15 she left the cornfields of Idaho to explore the world. She began with the sky, but found nothing there. Imagining the ground would be the same, she decided to conclude her adventures and returned to her previous life. The End.
About this picture: This piece was probably more fun to color than to draw. I redrew her leg like 5 times before I settled with what you see now. Her eye and hair are a new experience for me, though, and I'm quite pleased with how they turned out. I may experiment more with the round eyes and ribbony hair in the future.
gives a feeling of personality
