So, as I promised, a .fla file. I have to submit it to scraps because apparently Flash files don't belong in the Flash gallery. Edit: Placed it in a zip and submitted it to Tutorials:Flash; thanks for the tip, =SFukuda!
This character is Maiden Flash, who was made for the express purpose of a tutorial (for those of you who did not know I made one).
Anyhow, this file is for your reference if you have Flash CS3 (I use CS4, but I can at least save it in this format for those of you who don't). You can look at the layers or the colors I used and the filters I applied to the line art. You can also zoom in and see why I don't like exporting my artwork at very high resolutions.
And if you don't have Flash, you can at least now compare the three different techniques I plan to use in my gallery. And this time it will be fair, since it's all of the same content.
So now that I've seen the three styles all up close and even a little personal I can safely say for certain why I don't like the pencil style as much as your other two styles: the precision. The lines as thin and beautiful as they are look lifeless compared to the brushed ones. They shapes are more mechanical and in my opinion less interesting. The cuff to the sleeve and the angles of the lines of the neck illustrate the differences the greatest.
Well, who said I wasn't female? Also, I have to go. Lets meattomato, so we can ketchup. Ah, shucks! What a corny joke! You got any? If so, I'm all ears!
although the two others are nice i like pencil version =x

Or rather, at the moment it is.
