Originally intended to be called "Vomit Girl." I think I like this one better.

Anyhow, this isn't a character driven piece, so there's no interesting backstory to her. She's just sitting on a bench, waiting for maybe a person or vehicle. Or rain. But some of you are probably still back at the first sentence wondering about vomit.

Let's just say that instead of a bag of oranges on the ground, it was a larger, soppier bag of you-know-what. Ultimately I decided against it because it was just gross and I wasn't really looking forward to drawing stuff oozing out of the corners.

This turned out to be a fun one to do. I tried to emulate water coloring with a vector brush using a whole bunch of alpha pallets (ranging from 2~25% in opacity). It was a lot of layers. I don't know how many, though, since I'm using groups in Flash instead of actual layer-layers.

Incidentally, this is probably the first haiku/senryuu I've written in years. If for some reason you can't read it, it says:

"A bird on my head
I must go to the restroom
...it is too late now."
