Oh man, it feels great to finally finish this picture! Started Monday and did not finish until Saturday night.

Anyhow, this is from Aria, which is also in my top 5 favorites. This is another title I'd recommend, especially if you are into the slice-of-life genre. If you are looking for the Must Become More Powerful So I Can Protect/Destroy Everybody genre, probably not for you. It is a very mellow and heart-warming series. Also it has beautiful music.

One thing I realized as I was drawing this piece was that my drawing satisfaction goes way up when I am drawing pretty ladies - something that I did not get much of when drawing the Borderlands fanart (which probably contributed to my complaints in that rant). I don't know how I forgot this. I even stated it bluntly in that art meme some years back.

Well, this was an interesting experience. I got to imitate a style I admired, draw some pretty ladies (yesss), and was able to experiment with new techniques in Flash. Did you know this was all still in Flash? Filters and Blending are hella useful if you know what you're doing.
