Now some of these may not apply to everyone but it can happen to alot of people but I do agree with #1...any way you say it..its still rude. And if you don't agree with these ok you don't have to ..you don't even have to comment saying.."I don't really like these" just go browse somewhere. Though SOME of these are annoying but not all. Not saying I feel this way but I do agree with them.. "

Fandoms, Yaoi, Yuri & 'Cult Followings'So this has been on my mind for a while.
Does anyone think that fandoms can sometimes ruin the actual thing for you? Does that make sense? HUH?
For example:
Tumblr is a community consisting of a huge amount of fandoms such as The Avengers, Sherlock Holmes, Doctor Who etc.
Let's say you have a couple of friends. You find a TV Series/Movie/Comic/Book etc that you really like but none of your friends have ever heard of. You gradually begin to develop a small obsession for this TV Series/Movie/Comic/Book and eventually (as you have no one to fangasm about it with) you tell one or more of your friends about it. They aren't so keen at first, but then they develop a HUGE OBSESSION with it. You join in with their banter about the TV Series/Movie/Comic/Book, but after a few months, you move on, no longer wanting to talk about it anymore. However, this TV Series/Movie/Comic/Book has now got a "cult following" with your friends, and even more people (let's say the self-labled 'mis-understood hips

Back from TurkeyYo
I'm back from Turkey.
The flight to turkey was nice.
And the food was actually pretty good.
On Friday I went swimming in the sea ALONE
The water was really salty, so I floated with no effort.
Then for tea we went to Marina's Restaurant.
Oh my god that Restaurant.
It's like a giant buffet.
They were filleting a tuna right in the middle of it that night.
It was so big I couldn't fit all of it in the photo.

I went to the children's paradise.
I went on the slides. It was fun.

a sigh from the terminally un-edgybetween having a small face with small features, buck teeth, and being quite skinny, i fear that people will find it hard to take me seriously. i know i'll look young when im older, but in the mean time, who would give a serious commission to an artist who looks 15? and what is the point of looking young when i'll still feel old when i'm old?
I wish i could have more of an "edgy" appearance, which would add years and seriousness. maybe take up playing electric guitar, or wear heavy eyeliner. maybe dye my hair black (....nope). Yea, and i'll start drawing macabre or otherwise dark art. skeletons gore and metaphors for terrible things here we come...!

Devious Journal EntryOkay, so now I'm getting messages of ACTA.
Internet has ruined lots of things for me, but It's ruining itself now.
Every 30 minutes I get a journal, or poll, or 20 deviations because of SOPA/PIPA/ACTA.
SOPA is gone. It was never going to go through in the first place.
PIPA is to scare people, again.
MegaUpload is gone, just like Limewire, due to it's allowance of downloading Illegal Music,Images,Videos, etc.
ACTA, has nothing to do with facking internet Censorship.

In response to my poll....OKAY
So a lot of you have seen this poll I posted recently about the importance of digital art tools. http://daesiy.deviantart.com/journal/poll/2310960/
It's getting a lot of responses and I feel like I should throw in my two cents on the issue just because I like to talk and ya. c: No I am not putting of calculus homework, shush.
Honestly, it's really difficult for me to think of a one-word defined answer to the question presented in the poll. Like many people have stated, I definitely agree that the art and skill in a picture comes from the artist themself. Having the latest version of Photoshop and the newest, biggest Intuos4/ cintique will not improve your anatomy or give you amazing color theory skills. To me, that is a definite fact.
However, I think there is something to be said about having a program and tool that you are most comfortable with.

Yo, thanks! The bagel by itself wasn't very good, BUT when I got home, there was leftover KFC, so in the morning I fried an egg, toasted the bagel, and microwaved the fried chicken. Powers combined, it was an amazing sandwich!

Didn't do anything special with the juice, though. Put a straw in it. Drank it. Now it's part of my body.

I am most likely going to AX 2013! Whether I will be tabling or not, I don't know yet. But at least I will attend.
