It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

What I'm looking for:
Everything! Wolves, foxes, fennec foxes, ferrets, servals, bobcats, tigers, other big cats, small cats, deers, dragons, gryphons, dogs, birds, hybrids, original species.. bring it!
I'm leaving the details to your imagination, but here are some things I really like:
-White base color with black and red markings<33 (mostly on canines)
-Cute and fluffy things! No need to go all big eyes and oversized heads, but animals with fur. Creepy and slimy things just aren't my thing.. Still don't be afraid to make something dark/evil
-Anything tribal
-Native american stuff
-Feathers!
-Tawny, golden, brown, white, red, blue, cyan, gray, black (well, not all combined)

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.
And this is becoming a growing problem, I think, because n

Then only to realize you only have total control of the brush but when you are moving it really slow?. But when you do quick strokes the pressure drops a lot of paint making you redraw tons of stuff?

Anime Expo 2011

Hey guys! It's been a while since I wrote a journal (or posted a deviation, or read through my message box for that matter), so here is one! Also, as a last minute notice, yes, I will be going to AX this year. Here's where you might find me:

As usual, I still have no table or way for anybody to find me. There is the possibility that if you bring a hot cross bun, you will eventually turn around and Whoah! there I am with my hands held open.

But as AX is a large place with many tastes and smells, there is also the chance that I will be unable to feel the bun's presence, and it will be a loss for the both of us.

And for the lot of you who are not going to AX, I will probably try to make another AX report when I get back! Not right when I get back, of course, but probably the week after or so.

I need to get back on this site more often.

EDIT:
I forgot to mention this, but I will be there on Saturday! Just Saturday.
Also, I made a grave mistake in confusing Funimation with another distributor. My deepest apologies for mixing up two very different companies!
